Leadership: Alexandra Elliott

Founder & Senior Strategic Consultant · Alkemi Consult Limited

Alexandra Elliott is one of the UK's foremost practitioners in software defined vehicle strategy, connected automotive services, and the brand experience implications of the SDV transition.

She is the founder of Alkemi Consult, a boutique strategic advisory working with automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and technology organisations navigating the shift from hardware-led products to software-driven, experience-first businesses.

Alexandra brings over a decade of executive leadership inside global automotive organisations. Her most recent corporate role was Global Head of Connected Product & Experience at a world-leading premium automotive OEM, a position in which she led the definition and delivery of the organisation's connected vehicle strategy, directed features-over-the-air and OTA/SOTA programmes, and shaped the customer experience architecture across connected services, ADAS-adjacent propositions, and subscription-based monetisation models.

During that tenure, Alexandra secured multi-million-pound investment for pioneering digital transformation programmes, led cross-functional teams across the UK, USA, and China, and established operating models that earned independent recognition from organisations including JD Power. She also led a significant technology partnership with NVIDIA in the context of ADAS customer experience, an engagement that required translating complex technical capability into coherent customer and commercial propositions.

Alexandra founded Alkemi Consult to bring this practitioner perspective directly to the leaders making the hardest decisions in automotive transformation. Her specialism sits at an intersection that remains underserved in most advisory offerings: the point where software defined vehicle architecture meets brand strategy, customer experience design, and recurring revenue model development.

She is a particular authority on the strategic tension between OEM-defined connected experiences and the growing customer expectation for seamless off-car connecting experiences, a topic with significant commercial and brand implications for every premium automotive manufacturer.

The SDV transition is the most significant strategic inflection point in automotive since the introduction of the internal combustion engine. Most of the conversation is about the technology. The more important conversation is about what it means for brand experience, customer loyalty, and commercial model design.
